Citi Wealths Adds J.P. Morgan Exec to Lead Digital Efforts

-

Citi Wealth announced this week that it has hired Eric Lordi, a former J.P. Morgan executive, to lead its digital division.

Lordi will join Citi Wealth as head of Wealth Platform and Experience on Jan. 29, 2025.

He will be responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of Citi Wealth’s digital experiences for clients, advisors and bankers. This will include defining and delivering on the wealth unit’s platform roadmap and working across the company’s technology, operations and design teams. His purview will also include identifying and developing new digital capabilities and driving thought leadership, according to the firm.

Lordi most recently served as the head of ConnectWealth Strategic Development at JP Morgan. Prior to that role, he was managing director and head of advice platforms at Morgan Stanley.

In the new role, Lordi will report to Citi Wealth’s chief operations officer, Valentin Valderrabano.

The role was previously held by Julia Carreon, who left the firm in August.

It has been a busy year and a half for Citi’s wealth unit, with executive arrivals and departures dating back to Andy Sieg joining to run Citigroup’s wealth management division in March 2023
